Delaney is a three-year-old Bloodhound rescued from Walton Animal Control. She was found tied to a tree with one of her two-month old pups before animal control picked her up. Thankfully her pup was adopted out, but Delaney is still looking for the perfect home. She is heartworm positive, so she will remain unavailable until her treatment is over. Avery is certainly a dog in need of our help. She was picked up as a stray in Gwinnett County and after we rescued her, we discovered that not only was she deaf, she was heartworm positive. We would like to get her a vibrating collar to help with her training (vibrating collars range from $250-$500) and heartworm treatment will cost about $300. She is smart, exuberant, and very loving so despite her expenses, we really enjoy having her around our rescue. She is not currently available for adoption as she has to go through her heartworm treatment but we will take applications during this time (just keep in mind that it will be about two months before she becomes available). We will provide more in-depth information about Avery once she’s healthier but if you’d like more insight, please email us for more information.
