Mack

mack mack2 mack3 mack4

  • Name: Mack
  • Age: 14 weeks (as of late april)
  • Breed: Shepherd/Lab mix
  • Gender: Male

Mack is a happy-go-lucky puppy. He’s growing like a weed and doesn’t realize how big he is, which makes for some adorable moments- as well as some teaching moments on the merits of not jumping up on people :) Mack came in very shy and timid, but is coming out of his shell and enjoying his new sense of confidence. He is pretty quiet and doesn’t bark much. He is crate trained and working on his housebreaking.

Paddy- Adopted!

paddy paddy2a paddyfreedom

  • Name: Paddy
  • Age: 5 months
  • Breed: Labrador Retriever
  • Gender: Male

You know how the most lethal part of a labrador is his tail- clearing coffee tables and whacking people in the back of the knees? Well, Paddy has the perfect answer for you– his tail is about half the length of a typical lab. The vet thinks it was injured, though it even could have happened in utero. We think it adds to his boyish charm. And charm he has in spades- Paddy is the living description of joyful labrador retriever puppy! He is loving and sweet, very affectionate and playful. Paddy is great with other dogs and loves to play, especially in the water! Paddy would do well with obedience training classes and would love the interaction and working on ‘homework’ with his people.

Hoover

hoover

  • Name: Hoover
  • Age: Puppy
  • Breed: Terrier mix
  • Gender: Male

Hoover and his brother Kenmore are a couple mixed breed pups that were dumped on a country road so we know nothing about either parent, but they were pobably also mixes. Whith Hoover our best guess would be some sort of terrier and maybe lab. He looks like he will grow up to be a large dog. He is a playful sweetheart, looking for someone to love.

Kenmore

  • Name: Kenmore
  • Age: Puppy
  • Breed: Terrier mix
  • Gender: Male

Kenmore and his brother Hoover are a couple mixed breed pups that were dumped on a country road so we know nothing about either parent, but they were probably also mixes.Kenmore is the smaller of the two and is some sort of a terrier mix. He looks like he will grow up to be a medium sized dog. During our puppy photo session all of the other pups were busy playing but Kenmore was more curious about what I was doing. Every time he would look up at me his little ears would fall back in the cutest way. He is a playful sweetheart.

Cindy Lou- Adopted!

cindylou

  • Name: Cindy Lou
  • Age: puppy
  • Breed: Lab mix
  • Gender: Female

Cindy Lou and her sister Peggy Sue are a couple of adorable little lab mixes. They have the lab look but in a slightly smaller version. They will be large girls when grown but probably more in the 60 to 70 pound range. Peggy Sue is mostly black with a little white on some toes and a few stray white hairs making a line across her chest. Cindy Lou is also black but has a large white patch on her chest.

April

aprilpupaprilpup2

  • Name: April
  • Age: Puppy
  • Breed: Chihuahua/husky/pit
  • Gender: Female

April and her sister Bonnie are rather unusual mixes. Their mother is a chihuahua mix and daddy is a husky/pit mix. April’s features and bone structure suggest that she will be a medium size when grown, maybe 35 to 45 pounds. She and her sister Bonnie love to play but want their share of attention and cuddling too.

Ike

ike

  • Name: Ike
  • Age: 15 weeks (as of April 1, 2013)
  • Breed: Miniature Pinscher mix
  • Gender: Male

Ike is a spunky little Min Pin mix! He is about 15 weeks and just around 5lbs. Ike has a medium to high energy level and inquisitive personality. A typical puppy, he’s all into exploring, playing with and chewing on toys. Ike is a quintessential miniature pinscher in temperament, so min pin fans will love him! He is big dog in a wee little body. Ike is athletic and though he’s small he needs exercise and training just like bigger dogs, so he stays well behaved and happy. He will only grow to about 12lbs, so small children may be too rough for his small stature.

Darla

darla darla3

  • Name: Darla
  • Age: 6-7 months (as of Feb)
  • Breed: Pit mix
  • Gender: Female

Darla is simply darling! She is a very loving, gentle pitty mix with a luxurious black coat and expressive ears. Darla loves her people, and enjoys a good snuggle at any time. She’s great with other dogs and really knows how to interact well with new friends. She trots happily into her crate and doesn’t make a peep once in there. She would do well with another dog or without. We originally thought Darla was a younger girl because of her small size, but she’s at least six months old and doesn’t look like she has too much growing left to do. She will probably be only about 35lbs full grown, a wonderful size for just about any home!
