Macon Petsmart

Just a friendly reminder- we have LOTS of cats and kittens located inside the Petsmart in Macon! Many of them are not listed on this website, but we have lots to choose from. Contact us (cats@cofas.org) if you would like to know more about the cats currently at the Petsmart adoption center, or if you are looking for a particular type of cat or kitten.

You can visit the cats during store hours. Adoptions are held Monday through Friday from 6-7pm, and on weekends from 11-4.

Cat- Mohawk

Mohawk is about 3 months old (July 2011). He is neutered, UTD on shots, and gets along well with dogs and cats. He is named for the white fur down his back that reminds us of a Mohawk. Apply today for this cute kitten!

Cat- Nancy

Meet Nancy, a gorgeous tortie point Siamese mix! Sid and Nancy were found as extremely sick 3 week old kittens at a local dumpster and were taken in by Lakeside Vet Clinic in Milledgeville, GA. They bottle-fed and hand-raised these babies until they were big enough and healthy enough to be spayed and neutered. They were feral to begin with, but during the 4 1/2 months they’ve been at the clinic they have really come around. They are however, still a bit shy and don’t do well at adoption events. Sid is more social than Nancy, though both need a quieter home without small children so they will feel safe enough to continue on the road to “kitty sweetness”. :) They would love a home together, but we know that is not likely so it’s not a requirement of adoption.
